It has been rumoured on many occasions that WhatsApp was preparing to rollout dark themes for its instant messaging app. It appears that rumour will turn to be the truth according to WABetaInfo who have disclosed the giant social media’s upcoming Dark Modes.
The two themes have their own specialities. The difference is the first Dark Mode will have a theme that that uses dark colours for the table and cells background. The second Dark Mode uses soft dark mode for both.
It is still unclear whether WhatsApp is ready to roll out these themes for the Facebook app. Instagram recently has supported the dark mode for both iOS and Android users. The Dark Mode displays a black interface with white texts. Direct Messages, IGTV and Settings all have these features enabled. Key rivals Twitter has already introduced the Dark Mode which works with the iOS 13 update.
It was reported last week that Facebook has started has started rolling out the Dark Mode for web with their users attesting to the fact with screenshots.
