He is virtually famous for discharging completely William Kennedy Smith of rape charges in 1991 and for representing conservative radio commentator Rush Limbaugh. He was born in 1945 in New York, United States. He took interest in Black studies at Jamaica College before graduating from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in 1967.
He also had a Juris doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law. Black belonged to the Zeta Epsilon chapter of Alpha Tau Omega while he was a student at UM. He sailed through the Florida Bar Exam with the highest score after graduating in 1970.
