Before becoming mayor, Lightfoot worked in private legal practice as a partner at Mayer Brown and held various government positions in Chicago.
Lori was born on August 4, 1962 (age 60 years), in Massillon, Ohio, United States of America to his parents by the names of Elijah Lightfoot and Ann Lightfoot.
The Chicago major is happily married to her husband by the name of Amy Eshleman.
Lori completed her high school education at Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio, where she played trumpet in the brass band, sung alto in the choir, served as the point guard for the basketball team, played volleyball, softball, and was a part of the Pep Club.
