Christian McCaffrey biography
The National Football League (NFL) running back Christian Jackson McCaffrey was born on June 7, 1996. He plays for the San Francisco 49ers. He played college football for Stanford, and the Carolina Panthers selected him with the eighth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.He spent his freshman year at Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colorado, and the remainder of his high school career at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He was a punter, wide receiver, cornerback, and running back. His career total touchdowns (141), all-purpose yards (8,845), career touchdown receptions (47), and single season all-purpose yards all in Colorado high schools were all broken (3,032).  He was Colorado’s 2012 and 2013 Gatorade Football Player of the Year.

Christian’s father, Ed McCaffrey, played wide receiver for Stanford before going on to play in the NFL for 13 seasons with the Giants, 49ers, and Broncos. He played a supporting role with San Francisco during their 1994 Super Bowl run, but from 1996 until 2003, Denver was when his career really took off. Christian’s mother, Lisa McCaffrey, met Ed while she was a star soccer player at Stanford. She was Julie Foudy’s teammate and a three-year letterwinner from 1987 to 1989.
