Ghanaian passport holders are permitted to travel to a variety of countries around the world without a visa or with a visa upon arrival.
Citizens of Ghana can now travel freely without having to worry about the time and money required to secure a visa in advance.
As of February 2023, the VisaGuide Passport Index places the Ghanaian passport at position 146. Thus, citizens of Ghana can now visit 45 countries without a visa.
In order to travel without a visa, you are still required to have a passport that is valid for at least another six months after the date of your departure, and you are also required to purchase travel health insurance in accordance with the regulations of the country to which you are traveling.
