Some admission Scholarships for International Students are automatically granted to newly admitted foreign students, while others might require them to complete a separate application.
The university has three main admission scholarships namely: the University of Toronto International Scholar Award, the International Merit Admission Award, and the International Student Admission Bursary.
This Scholarship program is available to countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Morroco, Benin, Cape Verde, Togo, Gambia, Guinea, Burkina Faso, and many other international countries.

The scholarship is available for students who want to pursue their undergraduate degrees in Canada, Toronto
This means you must be in a good stance to apply for an undergraduate degree to be considered for the scholarship
Documents needed for your application
To apply for this scholarship, you’re required to provide certain documents to be considered for the program.
Documents Required for your undergraduate or bachelor’s degree programs application.
To apply for your undergraduate degree program, you are required to provide the following documents
- Your high school (Senior high School) certificate
- Your High school (Senior High School) transcript (from the first year to your final year)
- Your final external or national examination such as WAEC for Nigerian and other west African students, WASSCE for Ghanaian students, Matric for south African students e.t.c
- Your Birth Certificate
- English proficiency tests: the TOEFL, the IELTS, the CAE, and the CPE. (Optional)
